So, I missed last week because life keeps throwing me curveballs, HOWEVER I was really into last week’s prompt and have had this list in my drafts forever so I am forgoing this week’s settings prompt to share with you my top ten auto-buy authors!
As always, these are in no particular order and sacrifices had to be made to keep the list to 10.
Overall, I’m pretty pleased with the result š

Rin Chupeco
Sandhya Menon
Amy Rose Capetta
Anna Marie McLemore
Roshani Chokshi
Cornelia Funke
Tamora Pierce
Renee Ahdieh
Cindy Pon
Nnedi Okorafor

Still recovering from the last two weeks so not a whole lot of details (typing is still a bit painful and writing/formatting on my cell is a nightmare) but I’m totally down to discuss authors in the comments!
That being said, do we have any auto-buy authors in common? Based on my authors, do you have any you’d recommend I check out? Please share with me in the comments below!
Thanks for stopping by and happy reading! š
Wow, you thought of a lot of auto-buy authors! Good for you. I struggled with this prompt last week.

Great list! I read Amy Rose Capetta for the first time this year and I have a feeling she’s going to become an auto-buy author – I really enjoyed The Brilliant Death. š

Sadly, I have only read one of these authors. I enjoyed the Inkheart series, although I’m not sure I ever actually finished it. Shame on me!
Happy TTT!

I’ve read and enjoyed several authors on your list. For others you might enjoy, try Angela Johnson, Sherri L. Smith, Alaya Dawn Johnson, and Malinda Lo (these are mostly YA authors).

Ah this is a lovely list! I loved Renee Ahdieh’s The Wrath and the Dawn duology, as well as Flame in the Mist and can’t wait to read more from her. I also really enjoyed Roshani Chokshi’s books I’ve read so far (the star touched-queen and gilded wolves), I can’t wait to read more! š

I read ‘Binti’ by Nnedi Okorafor a while back but I wasn’t as crazy about it as everyone else seemed to be. Do you think it’s something I’d get into if I read the whole series? (I loved some of the world-building, but the characters and the conflict seemed a little flat.)
